Junior Karla, 26, of 1205 31st St. in Perry was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of interference with official acts when Perry Police Office Josh Sparks tried to serve Karla with a no-trespass order requested by Rainbow International.

The arrest followed the earlier issuance Tuesday of a no-trespass order against Karla from the Perry Pizza Hut and the issuance Sept. 14 of a no-trespass order from the Perry Community School District.

According to Perry Police reports, Pizza Hut staff members claimed Karla “has been showing up there to try to initiate conversations with two of their waitresses,” a 16-year-old female and a 17-year-old female. The contacts have been occurring “for the past week,” according to the staff of the restaurant at 2812 Willis Ave.

A second no-trespass order against Karla was requested at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday by Rainbow International at 2901 Willis Ave. Staff at Rainbow International reported to Perry Police Karla was “loitering all day” outside the business and “asking to come inside and asking to approach the women.” They called police again at 3:45 p.m.

At about the same time Tuesday afternoon, Perry Police received a further report from three Perry juveniles in the vicinity of the Bluejay Market at 2810 Willis Ave. The young people, two females and one male, said Karla “started following them, asking how long they have lived in Perry and how old they are.”

The male juvenile said Karla “asked him if he knew any 18-year-old females” because he “was wanting to have sexual relations with them.”

Karla first came to the attention of the Perry Police Department when he entered the Perry Middle School Sept. 14. When questioned by Perry Police, Karla said he was looking for his brother, but he could not identify his brother’s age or grade in school. Middle school staff were unaware of any student by that name.

A no-trespass order was issued against Karla at that time.

Karla was reportedly seen on or near the grounds of the Perry High School on Sept. 22. When Perry Police officers explained to Karla he “is not allowed on school grounds at all,” he reportedly said “he has the right to do whatever he wants.”

  1. He was riding his bike around the High School Football field today. I saw him when I was waiting for my son to finish with practice. Someone needs to put this creep behind bars…OR give him a one way ticket back to where he belongs!!!!
