A last-chance private pesticide applicator recertification training course will be held Thursday, April 13 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Dallas County Extension Office at 28059 Fairground Road in Adel.
Registration will open at 8:30 a.m., and participants must be registered prior to 9 a.m.
Annual training is required for private pesticide applicators wanting to recertify to apply restricted-use pesticides. April 15 is the deadline for annual training. Certified applicators who do not attend annual training will have to take an exam to recertify.
There is a $20 state-wide training fee for attending private pesticide applicator recertification training that is payable to Dallas County ISU Extension at the time of registration.
