Wild Rose Jefferson today announced that country and pop vocalist Kenny Rogers will perform a second show as part of the casino’s grand opening celebration.
Rogers will perform both Friday, Aug. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the casino’s 1,100-seat Greene Room Event Center and again Saturday, Aug. 8 at 7:30 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. both nights.
“The Friday night show sold out in 26 hours,” said Wild Rose Jefferson General Manager Mike Couch. “We took a chance and asked the booking agency if Mr. Rogers would do a second show, and they said, ‘Yes.’ We are thrilled to be able to offer another performance.”
Tickets go on sale today on the Wild Rose website. The ticket price is $41.50.
Brad Morgan will also be performing both Friday and Saturday in Coaches Corner at 9 p.m. Admission is free for Morgan’s shows.
“Primarily a country artist with a smattering of classic and southern rock, Brad provides a little bit of something for everyone, performing both original songs and covers,” according to the Wild Rose Jefferson website.
The three-day grand opening celebration takes place Aug. 7, 8 and 9 and features a full slate of festivities.
