Cozy, creative -- and even creepy -- Christmas stockings filled the 2016 DCH Foundation fundraiser.

From Christmas wreaths to dwarf Christmas trees to Christmas stockings, the annual Dallas County Hospital Foundation holiday fundraiser is evolving year by year.

This year’s silent auction featured about 20 unique socks of love, created and filled by generous hospital administrators, staff and others at annual DCH Foundation fundraiser.

“This is almost everybody’s favorite event,” said Matt Crooks, DCH Foundation manager. “The creativity that goes into these holiday decorations is stunning every year.”

Auction bidding was brisk prior to the Nov. 29 deadline. As in previous years, all proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to the Dallas County Hospital Foundation, which supports the Dallas County Hospital’s mission of improving the health of Dallas County residents.
