Traffic slowed about 6 p.m. Monday in the 21000 block of 141st Street when a truck hauling a trailer full of trailers lost its load and scattered the farm implements in the westbound lanes of the busy roadway.
What upset the half-dozen corn head trailers stacked on the truck’s trailer is unknown at this hour.
There were no injuries in the incident. Officers of the Perry Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded to the mishap. Members of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department provided traffic control along Iowa Highway 141 during the busy evening commute.
Rodney Cromwell of Cromwell’s Towing Service in Perry calculated how best to remove the overturned Dose trailers, which were said to be made in Bouton and were on their way for shipping.

This is outside my house!
Did you witness the accident?
Could have really hurt someone. Is that legal to go down the road anyway? I doubt it.
