ADEL — A statement released by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office confirmed the death Saturday morning of a woman missing in the Adel area.
Svetlana Kornilova, 71, was found deceased at 27075 N Avenue, on property where she was last seen about 2 p.m. Friday, according to law enforcement.
“Nothing was found to be suspicious in nature” in the incident, the sheriff’s statement said. “More details may be released later after all family members have been located and/or advised.”
Initial reports of her disappearance said Kornilova made comments about harming herself.
