Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements for James Verle Bennett, 94, of Jefferson. Verle died at his home Feb. 17, 2015.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20 at the Central Christian Church in Jefferson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Verle is survived by his grandchildren, Nicole Friess-Schilling and Jamie (Dustin) Leggitt of Jefferson, Iowa, and Travis (Lora) Friess of Carroll, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Jack, Eliot, Ava and C. Blaise Schilling, Lydia and Helena Leggitt of Jefferson; and son-in-law, Nick Friess of Ames, Iowa.
