The final set of clips is from last Friday’s 46-21 setback to host Des Moines Christian, which ended W-G’s run of eight consecutive playoff appearances.
The first clip is of Tanner Vermaas (28) following the lead blocks of Race Brant (20) and Austin Scharlau (24) for a gain of 25 yards.
The second clip is of three runs from Vermaas. Note in particular the strong blocking on the first run provided by tight end Logan Canova (33) and the left side of the offensive line.
The final video is of several plays with DMC possessing the ball deep in W-G territory. The Hawk defense holds, but a turnover eventually allows the Lions to score.
Woodward-Granger finished the season 4-5 overall and 2-4 in Class 1A District 8 action. A recap of the season will appear later this week on ThePerryNews.com.
