WOODWARD — Nearly 150 students were in their finest attire Saturday for the 2017 Woodward-Granger Senior Prom, with “Rustic and Romantic” the chosen theme.
The traditional Grand March was held in the W-G auditorium at 6:30 p.m. in front of packed house. Prom goers, having, no doubt, already posed for dozens upon dozens of photographs, were stopped three times as they crossed the stage to allow for even more photos.
At the conclusion of the walk-in, Spencer Hanson was revealed as Prom King, with Savannah David crowned Prom Queen. Cameras were not finished with the young men and women, as much posing was held outside the school before couples and groups headed off to the prom itself.
Lake Robbins Ballroom was the destination for dancing and light snacks, which began at 8 p.m. After-Prom was held at W-G Elementary School in Granger.
