Kaylynn Bousmann of Perry is one of half-a-dozen students who first wrote and now are performing in the DMACC Ankeny Theatre production of “2020 BINGO.”
The play was co-written by Bousmann and fellow DMACC Ankeny student actors Adam Horton of Ankeny, Jessica Katzung of Des Moines, JaKharri McKinney formerly of Fairbanks, Alaska, and now living in Ankeny, Faruk Garibovic of Des Moines and Lo Stone of Des Moines, along with Jodi Jinks, Krister Strandskov and Rachel Trimble. Jinks is also the faculty director.
Nineteen free performances were planned, but COVID-19 safety precautions are in place, which limit each show to a maximum of five audience members, with the audience and cast members wearing masks at all times.
The 10 remaining show dates and times are:
- Thur., March 4 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Fri., March 5 at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Sat. March 6 at 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Sun., March 7 at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
