Members of the Perry junior class continued their prom fundraising efforts Saturday morning by offering full service to gas customers at the First Avenue Casey’s.
Drivers found Bluejays and Jayettes waiting to pump their gas and wash the windows of their vehicles in exchange for tips, which went toward the fundraising efforts. The students were quite successful, generating $924 in tips/donations in just a few hours.
Those efforts followed the recently completed on-line auction, which raised over $4,700, bringing the total collected to date to over $14,000.
No fundraisers are planned for the immediate future, but the juniors continue to sell water bottle stickers (see below).
