A light dusting to remind all of the season

A light dusting of snow fell on downtown Perry Tuesday evening.

Perry received only a short-lived falling of flurries Tuesday evening, though the light snow served as a reminder the calendar has indeed moved to December.

The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures in the mid to upper-20s for the next seven days in the Perry area, with overnight lows in the single digits Thursday and Friday. No measurable snowfall is expected until the end of next week.
