- A vehicle owned by Greenslades Towing of Adel was parked in the 500 block of S. 12th St. when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
- Court Avenue Motors of Adel reported a theft in the 1500 block of Greene St. Estimated value was $1,000.
- Lacie Dolan of Adel reported a theft in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. Estimated value was $10.
- A vehicle driven by Sharon Garoutte of Adel was traveling in the 100 block of N. Ninth Street, where she struck a building. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
December 13, 2017
- Sean Michael Teske, 46, 36 River Vista Dr., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County deferred-judgement warrant on an original charge consumption. Teske was also subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.

- A vehicle driven by Deanna Berch of Adel was traveling eastbound in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6. A vehicle driven by Justin Woodward of Adel was also traveling eastbound and struck the rear of Berch’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $600.

- A vehicle driven by Mindi Annear of Adel was traveling westbound in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when her vehicle struck a deer. Damage was estimated at $2,500.

- A vehicle driven by Norman Renner of Adel was traveling westbound in the 2300 block of Brickyard Road when his vehicle struck a deer. No damage was reported.
