- Barbara Cuttler of Adel reported an attempted scam in the 1600 block of S. 15th Street. Nothing was taken.
- A vehicle driven by David Courtright of Waukee was traveling eastbound in the 800 block of Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Christina Deardorff of Grimes struck the rear of Courtright’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $7,000.
- Grace Lutheran Church of Adel reported a theft in the 23000 block of Meadow Road. The items were estimated at $700.00.
- Eric Nathan Ranker, 41, of 2121 Greene St., #A27, Adel, was arrested for littering and interference with official acts and on an Adel original warrant for violation of a no-contact order.
July 2, 2020
- A vehicle owned by Karla Findley of Adel was parked in the 600 block of S. 12th St. when it was struck by a vehicle driven by Robert Staton of Grant City, Missouri. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
- Samuel Lee Saveraid, 49, of 1510 Main St., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge driving while license suspended.
- Anthony Mykel Blair, 20, of 508 S. 12th St., Adel, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge driving while license suspended.
July 3, 2020
- Joshua Stanley of Redfield reported vandalism to his vehicle in the 800 block of Greene Street. Damages were estimated at $3,000.
July 4, 2020
- A single-vehicle accident occurred in the 1700 block of Grove Street when a vehicle driven by Bret Thompson of Adel struck a culvert. Damages were estimated at $2,000.
July 6, 2020
- Benjamin Thomas Ohrtman, 37, of 1924 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on an Adel original warrant for first-offense stalking.
