  • Douglas Reis of Adel reported vandalism in the 700 block of S. 10th Street. Damages were estimated at $500.
  • A vehicle driven by Kent McAdon of Adel was backing up in the 800 block of Court Street when it struck a parked vehicle owned by Zachary Bertness of Granger. Damages were estimated at $2,000.
  • Cory Zahrt of Adel reported vandalism in the 1700 block of S. 14th Street. Damages were estimated at $20.
  • Johnny Ollie of Adel reported vandalism in the 200 block of S. 10th Street. Damages were estimated at $30.
  • Michael Sandquist of Adel reported vandalism in the 1500 block of HyVue Street. Damages were estimated at $20.

  • Sharon Stone of Adel reported a theft in the 1400 block of S. 10th Street. The items were estimated at $50.
  • Danielle Duerschmidt of Adel reported credit card fraud in the 1100 block of Luther Drive. The items were estimated at $1,200.
  • A vehicle driven by Brandon Latting of Des Moines was traveling northbound in the 1800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a motorcycle driven by Brian Hansen of Des Moines struck the rear of Latting’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $5,500.

June 8, 2019

  • Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Visions Parkway at the Heartland Area Education Agency property. Damages were estimated at $150.
  • A vehicle driven by Julie Bishop of Linden was traveling southbound in the 200 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Amber Williams of Stuart was attempting to cross the highway and struck Bishop’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $2,250.
  • Edward Meacham of Adel reported vandalism in the 500 block of S. 16th Street. Damages were estimated at $20.
  • Cynthia DePond of Adel reported vandalism in the 500 block of S. 16th Street. Damages were estimated at $20.
