  • A vehicle driven by Molly Kuhns of Redfield was traveling westbound in the 600 block of Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Noah Stewart of Winterset was traveling eastbound, and a tire came off and struck Kuhn’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $5,000.

  • A vehicle driven by Christina Williamson of DeSoto was traveling westbound in the parking lot at 801 Nile Kinnick Drive S. when it struck a parked vehicle owned by the ADM School District. Damages were estimated at $1,700.
  • Casey’s General Store of Adel reported a theft in the 800 block of Greene Street. The item was estimated at $3.79.
  • Jean Charters of Adel reported a scam in the 1400 block of Ann Avenue. The item was estimated at $176.86.

October 11, 2018

  • A vehicle driven by Amie Dawes of Adel was traveling southbound in the 1600 block of Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Ty Hook of DeSoto was traveling southbound and struck the rear of Dawes’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $3,000.
  • Chelsea Charles of Adel reported a theft in the 1800 block of Southbridge Drive. Items were estimated at $30.

October 12, 2018

  • A car-versus-deer accident occurred in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when Melissa Carmichael of Redfield struck a deer. Damages were estimated at $7,500.
  • Charlene Cooper of Waukee reported a theft in the 800 block of Greenwood Hills Drive. Items were estimated at $200.
  • A vehicle driven by Sara Wingfield of Ankeny was traveling eastbound in the 600 block of Meadow Road when she struck a parked vehicle owned by Lumberman’s Drywall and Roofing of Des Moines. Damages were estimated at $2,100.
