- A vehicle driven by Eric Johnson of Adel was backing out of a parking space at 28972 R Ave. and struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Julius Nazareta of Pittsburg, Calif. Damages were estimated at $1,000.

- A vehicle driven by Karen Warlow of Evergreen, Colo., was approaching the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street when it struck from the rear a vehicle driven by Shelley Mendenhall of Des Moines that was stopped for traffic. Damages were estimated at $1,400.
- A vehicle driven by Charles Clausen of Redfield was approaching the intersection of Nile Kinnick Drive S. and Greene Street when it struck from the rear a vehicle driven by Dakota Kahler of Adel that was stopped for traffic. There were no damages.
- Trisha Mash of Adel reported a theft in the River Vista Trailer Park. Items taken were valued at $1,050.
September 30, 2016
- A vehicle driven by Marek Wachendorf of Adel was stopped at the intersection of S. 14th and Greene streets when a vehicle driven by Mary Kromminga of Belle Plaine, Iowa, was also stopped at the same intersection. Wachendorf’s vehicle struck Kromminga’s vehicle in the intersection. Damages were estimated at $900.
- Justin Miller of Adel reported a theft in the 900 block of Main Street. Items taken were valued at $355.

- Linda Ann Ridge, 45, 1402 Janet Circle, Adel, was arrested on an Adel warrant on original charges of controlled substance violation, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to affix drug stamp.
- Steve Hick of Perry reported finding items from a theft from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Hyvue Street. Items taken were valued at $60.
- Steve Hick of Perry reported finding items from a theft from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Hyvue Street. Items taken were valued at $200.00.
- Elmer Maurath of Adel reported finding items from a theft from a vehicle in the 1000 block of S. Ninth Street. Items taken were valued at $100.
- The Dallas Center Police Department reported a theft in the 1400 block of Hyvue Street. Items taken were valued at $50.
- Alice Gardner of Adel reported a theft from vehicle in the 1400 block of Hyvue Street. Items taken were of unknown value.
October 2, 2016
- A vehicle driven by Phillip Lautner of Adel was traveling west bound in the 1700 block of Meadow Road when it struck a Mid-American guy wire. Damages was estimated at $2,200.
