Nine people in the Adel-De Soto-Minburn Community School District have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, since Thursday, Dec. 10, according to communications from ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe.

The positive cases included two ADM Elementary School students, six ADM High School students and one non-building-assigned staff member.

In addition, 35 people were quarantined as close contacts of the infected students and staff member.

The ADM Community School District had about 1,900 students enrolled in 2019, with about 500 in the high school. The district’s ongoing virus-mitigation strategies can be reviewed on the ADM dashboard.
