The Perry Police Department responded to the report of a physical altercation in front of the Perry Elementary School about 8:15 a.m. The caller said adults were fist fighting.
Investigation led to the arrest of Rick Allen Thielen, 54, of Bouton on a charge of disorderly conduct.
The cause of the fisticuffs and the condition of the victim were unknown.
“That’s a poor example to set for the children,” said a passing parent. “I’m just glad they didn’t start shooting.”
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
