Perry High School sophomore Alex Fickbohm earned the highest score of any sophomore in Iowa in the written portion of the recent DMACC Automotive Skills Contest.

As a reward for his outstanding performance, Fickbohm was awarded a new tool set at the Hands-On Final Exam Friday, Dec. 13.

Perry High School automotive instructor Curt Cornelius also teaches in the DMACC Automotive program.
