Season honors have been announced for several members of the Perry Summer Swim Team, with eight of the racers earning All-Iowa West Swim Conference recognition.
Claiming IWSC honors were Lillian Lucht (8U), Aleah Karolus (11-12), Zoe Hibbert and Quin Mahler-Moreno (both 13-14), and both Jaylene Karolus and Sophia McDevitt (15-18) for the PSST girls. The Perry boys had honors bestowed upon Renaud Deardorff (8U) and Townes Wilson (11-12). Swimmers must score a minimum of 180 points throughout the season to earn the distinction.
PSST team all-star honors were gained by Zoe Hibbert, Quin Mahler-Moreno, Jaylene Karolus, Sophia McDevitt, and Renaud Deardorff. A speedster must finish in the top 5 percent of team scoring to be so named.
Also named were those earning IWSC and PSST individual stroke all-star honors.
