PANORA — Lydia Knapp has been chosen by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association for the Class 2A All-State Third Team. The Panorama senior played shortstop while also seeing action in the pitching circle for the Panthers, who finished 11-21 overall and 5-15 in WCAC play.
Knapp had 48 hits, which included 11 doubles, three triples and two home runs while batting .495.
She scored 33 runs, drove in 32 and had an on base percentage of .533 and slugging percentage of .732. Knapp was a strikeout victim only four times in 105 total trips to the plate.
Knapp finished 5-4 with one save in 49 total innings on the rubber, striking out 56 batters along the way.
