The Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of an anhydrous ammonia leak at an ag supply business near Perry shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday.
No injuries were reported in the incident at the Landus Cooperative at 2229 Clover Ave. in Boone County.
The firefighters located the leaking fertilizing tank and stopped its discharge.
The Boone County Sheriff’s office and the Dallas County EMS also responded.
