Visitation for Barbara Royce will be Monday, Oct. 5 from 4-7 p.m. at Carris Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Rippey Cemetery. According to her wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Barbara Jane Royce died at the Perry Lutheran Home at the age of 82.
She was the only child of Sheldon Andrew and Marvel June (Rice) Todd. Barbara was born on Sept. 4, 1933, on her grandparent’s farm southwest of Rippey.
She attended grade school in Minburn.
Her parents moved to a farm in the Rippey area.
Barbara graduated from Rippey High School in 1951 and after graduation worked for the Bell Telephone Co. in Perry.
On July 22, 1953, Barbara was united in marriage to Ronald Robert Royce at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They became parents to one son, David.
They farmed in the Rippey area until 1993, when they retired to their home in Perry.
Barbara was a member of the Perry Bible Church. She also enjoyed several women’s organizations in Perry and working with her flowers in her yard.
Through the years, Barbara and Ronald enjoyed their vacation trips in the United States, Canada and other countries.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
She is survived by her son, David Royce of Perry; two grand-daughters, Rebecca and Stephanie Royce; and two aunts, Dorothy Groves and Cynthia Todd.
