Every child worries, at one time or another, if “There’s A Monster Under My Bed!”
That was the name of the production presented by the Perry Elementary Fifth Grade classes at the Perry Performing Arts Center Thursday.
Using 21 narrators and featuring Jorge Galindo as the nervous boy-in-bed, the concert also showcased the artistic talents of the students, as the artwork used in the concert was the product of class time spent studying cartooning and how the use of various lines and shapes can create emotion.
The students spent several months rehearsing for the concert and proved to be a big hit with the large audience on hand.
Elementary music teachers Shaylena Bell and Devin Schroeder directed the production.
