Some dozens remain of St. Pat’s cinnamon rolls, based on Rita Smithson’s original recipe, along with a heavenly host of other baked goodies, but they are going fast at the annual fall bake sale at Studio on Second at 1218 Second St. in downtown Perry.
The Rev. David Polich, the former priest at St. Pat’s and now retired, made his annual pilgrimage to the bake sale, securing a half-dozen of the coveted sweets, and he was joined by many of townspeople when the sale began at 10 a.m. It ends at 2 p.m.
