Betty Arnold, 83, of Perry passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021, with her family in Perry, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, July 20 at 10 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery near Perry.

Betty Helen Arnold was born March 31, 1938, in Perry, Iowa, to Glen Wilbur and Darlene LaVerle (Shook) Ikerd.
She graduated from Panora High School.
Betty was united in marriage to Donald Peel until they divorced, and then she married Harold Arnold in 1985.
She worked at Woodward Resource Center for more than 30 years, and after retirement she worked at Abilities Unlimited for five years.
Betty served on the Bouton Fire Department for several years.
She loved going to the Boone car races and bowling. She spoiled her dog and cat and loved to feed her pets treats.
In death she rejoins her husband, Harold; parents, Glen and Darlene; and her son, Dennis Peel.
Left to cherish Betty’s memory are her son, Walter (Tammy) Peel of Perry; grandchildren, Mandy (Terry), Shawn (Danny), Eric, Michael (Heather), Kenny, Jessie, Daniel (Sam), Courtney (Scott) and Cory; great-grandchildren, Cody, Chloe, Ethan, Skyler, Katlynn, Justin, Aspen, Saniza, Taren, London, Chloe Alice, Kitra, Drew and Alex; great-great-grandchildren, Peyton, Dallas, Athena, Karli, Wyatt, Emma, Laura and Gabriel; sister-in-law, Bonnie Ikerd; her special friend, Patsy Coleman; her dog, Bella; and other relatives and friends.
