A bicyclist was injured Wednesday about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Eighth and Iowa streets in Perry.
The Perry Police Department responded, and the Perry First Responders are treating the victim, who appeared to be bleeding from the head but was conscious and breathing.
Radio traffic indicate the 18-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and thrown up and over the vehicle, suffering lacerations to the head and back.
Ambulances from the Dallas County EMS and Boone County EMS are responding at this hour.
The circumstances of the accident are unknown at this hour. Two passenger vehicles were stopped at the scene.
