Behind-the-scenes tips and tricks from a champion baker will be shared Monday, Aug. 27 at 9 a.m. at the Perry Public Library Lifelong Learners Coffee.
Sally Kilkenny of Granger, better known as State Fair Sally, is an Iowa State Fair blue-ribbon baker who has won numerous baking competitions at the annual event.
Kilkenny will give visitors the inside scoop on competitive baking from behind the scenes and will share stories, competition baking tips, tasty samples and other goodies from the Iowa State Fair.
The Lifelong Learners Coffee is free and open to the public. No registration is needed. For more information, call the library at 515-465-3569.
