A Wednesday loss on the road at Carlisle was sandwiched by home losses Monday to Bondurant-Farrar and Thursday to Boone as Perry continues to search for their first win of the summer.

Boone was an 18-1 victor in just four frames Thursday. A double from Owen Myers and singles from Kaelen Davis and Gavin Hegstrom accounted for the only Perry hits, with Carter Iben and Juan Hernandez each drawing a base on balls. Myers scored on a Hegstrom RBI.

Hegstrom yielded nine runs on five hits and six walks in two innings, with Dalton Scott allowing nine runs on seven hits in 1-2/3 frames on the bump. Scott was touched for seven hits, a walk and three hit batters while striking out one, with Holden Smith recording one out from the rubber.

The loss followed a 15-0 setback in three frames at Carlisle Wednesday.

Iben had two base hits, with Davis, Hernandez, and Steva adding singles.

Nine runs (eight earned) were charged to Iben, who allowed five hits while walking four and hitting three batters in two innings. Caleb Lyddon walked two and hit one in surrendering three runs in 1-/3 frames while Davis was assessed three runs on four hits and three hit batters in 2/3 of an inning.

Perry failed to score in being handed a 10-0 loss to visiting Bondurant-Farrar Monday.

Members of the Perry Little League were introduced in a pre-game ceremony.

Myers and Kane Killmer each had a single and Hernandez a walk to account for the only Perry runners to reach base in six innings.
