The Perry football team had over 40 players ran through a series of drills Friday in the final session of their three-day pre-season camp.
Practices begin in earnest Monday in preparation for another season in Class 3A District 2. Perry was 3-6 overall last year and finished 2-4 in D2 play.
The season will open with three consecutive non-district games, with ADM visiting Dewey Field Aug. 28 while Perry visits North Polk Sept. 4 before entertaining Gilbert Sept. 11.
A pair of road games start D2 competition, with Perry visiting Boone Sept. 18 and Carroll Sept. 25. Algona comes to Dewey Field Oct. 2, with the Cowbell Game Oct. 9 at Greene County. Perry ends the regular season by hosting Webster City Oct. 16 and Humboldt Oct. 23.
