The seventh-ranked Bluejay soccer team will open their season Saturday when they host the inaugural Perry Tournament at Dewey Field.
Perry faces Des Moines North in the opening match, which is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Southeast Polk faces Lewis Central at 10:30 a.m. with SEP to battle DM North at 12 p.m. The 1:30 p.m. contest features Perry squaring off with Lewis Central, with DM North and Lewis Central taking to the pitch at 3 p.m. The final match, set for a 4:30 p.m. start, will pit Perry against SEP.
Winterset visits Dewey Field Tuesday and Carlisle Thursday, with both junior varsity matches starting at 5:30 p.m. Perry will travel to Des Moine Hoover Friday for a freshman/JV/varsity triple-dip beginning at 4:45 p.m.
