Bluejays earn team, individual academic honors

The Perry baseball team was recently awarded an IHSAA Academic Excellence award for a combined team GPA of 3.0-3.25.

In addition, seniors Kaleb Olejniczak and Conner Kenyon, along with juniors Kaden Boyer and Kolby Wolfe, have been named Raccoon River Conference All-Academic honorees. To earn the recognition a player must be a letter winner, in grades 10-12, and have a GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.

The Bluejays also included Juan Hernandez, Carter Iben, Kato Dougan, Keghan West, Kolby Wolfe, Caden Steva, Rylee Ray, Kaleb Lyddon, Carlos Calderon, Dalton Scott, Quinn Helmers, Alex Morales, Logan Brokaw and Avery Meister.

The team was coached by Austin Daniels, with Tony Oros and Michael Craig assisting.
