Bock Family Foundation spring 2018 grant apps due March 1

The Bock Family Foundation Inc. Board of Directors announced Friday a second spontaneous round of donations of $12,000 to local groups supporting the community during the novel coronavirus global pandemic.

The Bock Family Foundation Inc. of Perry is now accepting grant applications for its spring 2019 granting cycle. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 1.

The foundation supports nonprofit organizations operated for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes. Projects funded must be located in Dallas County, with preference given to the four northwest townships: Dallas, Spring Valley, Lincoln and Washington townships.

Grant applicants must be a nonprofit organization or a unit of state or local government pursuant to U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1).

The Bock Family Foundation awards grants in the spring and the fall. Application deadlines are March 1 and Sept. 1, respectively, and applications for the spring 2019 cycle must be postmarked or delivered to the Bock Family Foundation by Friday, March 1, 2019.
