Bondurant-Farrar spikes visiting Perry

BONDURANT — Perry fell to host Bondurant-Farrar in Raccoon River Conference volleyball Tuesday by a 3-0 final. The Lady Jays posted set wins of 25-13, 25-14, and 25-13.

Perry saw their overall record decline to 3-25 overall and their RRC mark to 0-8 while B-F went to 18-10, 7-2.

Jasmine Shriver led the guests with eight kills, with Kacy Nevitt having seven, and Peyton Tunink and Lanie Fish one each. Eight assists came from Quin Whiton, five Jayna Kenney, two from Tunink and one each from Fish and Ashley Cerna.

Shriver also paced Perry in digs with 15. Callie Steva had seven digs and Cerna six, with Tunink, Kenney, and Whiton each having three digs and Nevitt and Addison Huntington one apiece. Shriver had 1-1/2 blocks at the net, with Fish recording an assisted block.

Nevitt was 7-of-7 with one ace while serving, with Cerna finishing 9-of-9 and Whiton 6-of-6. Shriver was 5-of-6, Kenney 5-of-7, and Tunink 4-of-4. The team was 36-39-1 for 92.3 percent accuracy.

Perry hosts ADM (1-17, 0-8) Thursday in their regular season finale. Perry will be seeking to end a 39-game RRC skid.
