
BONDURANT — The Lady Jays were 3-0 winners over the Jayettes in Raccoon River Conference net play Thursday, with the win moving Bondurant-Farrar to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in RRC action while Perry fell to 3-17, 0-4 with the setback.
B-F was a 25-16 winner in the first set, then scored a 25-17 second-set win to create the possibility of a sweep. The hosts completed the three-set victory with a 25-11 win in the third set.
Jo Diw led Perry with eight kills, with Sid Vancil making three kills, Isabel Saemisch two and Grace Marburger and Adrian Thompson one each. Vancil finished the match with seven assists and Maddie West with three, with Diw adding one assist.
Syd Guerra’s nine digs were a team best, with Diw and Marburger notching four digs apiece while Thompson, Vancil and West recorded two digs each. Marburger and Saemisch also had blocks at the net.


Thompson served 9-of-10 and Diw 6-of-7, with each scoring one ace. Vancil was 9-of-9 behind the line, with Marburger 6-of-7, West 6-of-8 and Guerra 4-of-4.
Amanda Demers had 23 assists, eight digs and served 13-14-5 for the Lady Jays, with Grace Hintze and Abygail Wood making three blocks apiece.
Connor Gauch had eight kills and 10 digs and Katelyn Tidman eight kills and nine dids whiel serving 15-16-1.
Perry returns to the court Tuesday with a visit from RRC opponent Carroll.
