The Perry preschools will be holding a chiilli dinner/reading time event Oct. 20.

The public has been asked to donate books that will be distributed to elementary-aged children enrolled in the Perry Summer School program.

Perry Elementary Co-Principal Ned Menke said any donations could be dropped off at the Perry Elementary School office during morning or early afternoon hours.

The program wishes to provided children with books they can keep and take home to enjoy. Any children’s books, picture books or early chapter books would be appreciated and put to good use by being distributed among the summer students.
