Less than one week after his arrest for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend with brass knuckles, a Jefferson man is back in the Greene County Jail on fresh weapons and drug charges.

Along with the ammunition there was a needle that field tested positive for methamphetamine along with multiple smoking devices with residue. There were two prescription pill bottles with a liquid substance also found in the room.”

In the garage, law enforcement found “more ammunition, including 45auto ammo, and
a prescription pill bottle,” according to court records.

Cosnotti is held in the Greene County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 15 in Greene County District Court.

Cosnotti was arrested July 3 on charges of third or subsequent offense domestic abuse assault, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-heroin and first-offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine.
