Hardy bicyclists took to the road for the 2015 BRR Bike Ride to Rippey. This year's BRR ride will differ in format due to COVID-19.

Saturday, Feb. 1 brings the 43rd annual Bike Ride to Rippey (BRR) to the Perry-Rippey commercial corridor.

The annual fundraising ride is held regardless of weather and offers a test of the hardiness of the riders.

Pre-registered riders and day-of registrants can pick up their materials starting at 7:30 a.m., with the Perry Lions Club offering their annual BRR Breakfast.

MCB Trainer Deb Miller will lead a Zumba warm-up exercise on Willis Avenue at 9:30 a.m., and the riders will roll out promptly at 10 a.m.

A hot chocolate pit stop will fortify riders at the halfway point to Rippey, and a wide variety of warm comforts await riders in Rippey.

After-ride entertainment will be found at various venues around Perry from 2-6 p.m.

For more information or to register, call the Perry Chamber of Commerce at 515-465-4601.
