Cate Bryan, right, filed nomination papers Wednesday for a spot on the ballot in the June primary election for Dallas County Auditor.

Cate Bryan filed nomination papers in Adel Wednesday as a Republican candidate in the June primary election. She is seeking her party’s nod to run for the position of Dallas County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections.

“For the past ten years, Dallas County has been one of the last counties to submit their unofficial election results to the Iowa Secretary of State,” Bryan said. “As Iowa’s fastest growing county, we need to take the lead and become one of the fastest counties to report and to do so accurately.”

The native Iowan and graduate of Hillsdale College said she is “running to bring a culture of leadership to the Auditor’s office. I will embrace technology, find and implement efficiencies and, most importantly, serve the constituent first.”

Bryan has seven years experience in the financial services industry and spent the last three years as director of constituent services for the U.S. Senate and serves as executive secretary of the Dallas County Republican Central Committee.

“I am proud to support Cate in her primary bid to become the Republican candidate for Dallas County Auditor,” said Patti Brown, who serves with Bryan on the Dallas County Republican Central Committee. “Cate has a positive, can-do spirit and a passion for service.”

Bryan and her husband, Ben, live in Waukee with their rescue dog, Blair. For more information, contact Bryan at 630-450-4891 or teambryanforiowa@gmail.com.
