Cacy Hupp of Earlham

Cacy Hupp, 41, of Earlham passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at her home, following a courageous 12-year battle with stage-4 colon cancer.

Visitation was Jan. 19 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Funeral service were held Jan. 20 at the funeral home. The service was live-streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/JohnsonFamilyFH). Burial took place at the Earlham Cemetery.

Cacy was born June 13, 1980, to William and Jana (Spivey) George in Irving, Texas.

At the age of 4, Cacy moved to Earlham, where she continued to live the rest of her life.

She attended Earlham Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1999.

On Sept. 13, 2003, she was united in marriage to Clint Hupp in Des Moines. The couple was blessed with two children, Logan and Kaylee. They were her world, and she treasured her time attending their sporting events and activities.

Cacy worked at Briggs Corp. and later NCMIC.

She enjoyed photography and watching birds.

In her spare time, Cacy and Kaylee spent a number of hours volunteering at A Heinz 57 Pet Rescue in DeSoto.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and an aunt.

Cacy leaves behind her loving husband, Clint; children, Logan and Kaylee; mother, Jana (Rick) George; mother, Jodi Aldini; father, William George; siblings, Kenneth (Bob) George, Anthony (Maria) George, Maegan (Matt) Woytek, Sheena (Jacob) Miles; father-in-law, Rick (Molly) Hupp; mother-in-law, Brenda (Chuck) Lewis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sheryl Miller, Stephanie Rhoades, Jaime (Mark) Shoesmith, Greg Lewis, Jennifer Christensen, Emily (Raj) Singh and Amanda Waltz; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
