Clearing the Cache on the Facebook Mobile App

  1. Tap More (illustrated by nine dots in bottom right corner).
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select “Privacy Shortcuts”
  3. Under “More Settings”, tap Browser > Clear Data

Clearing the Cache on Google Chrome

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app
  2. Tap More (illustrated by three dots in the upper right) > Settings.
  3. Under “Advanced,” tap Privacy > Clear browsing data.
  4. Select how much data to remove

Clearing the Cache on Safari

  1. Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.
  2. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button Remove All Website Data….
  3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.

Clearing the Cache on Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the Hub icon (it looks like three horizontal lines)
  2. Click the History icon (it looks like a clock face)
  3. Click the link labeled Clear all history.
  4. Check the boxes for each item you want to clear.
  5. Click the Clear button. The message “All Clear!” will appear at the top when the data has been erased.

Clearing the Cache on Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11

  1. Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history….
  2. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, and then click Delete.
  3. You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.

Clearing the Cache on Mozilla Firefox

  1. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History.
  2. From the Time range to clear drop-down menu, select the desired range. To clear your entire cache, select Everything.
  3. Next to “Details,”, click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear. To clear your entire cache, select All Items.

Clearing the Cache on Opera

  1. Click on the Opera button in the top left corner > Settings > Delete Private Data… NOTE: You can also access this menu by holding Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
  2. Click on Detailed Options to show the rest of the options. Make sure only the following are checked: Delete temporary cookies.
