Carm Staker, Perry Area Food Pantry coordinator at the Spring Valley campus of the Perry Lutheran Homes, coordinated another large donation to the pantry Saturday.
“These donations are very much appreciated,” said Food Pantry Site Manager Louis Hoger.
Staker organized two large donations of food from the residents and staff of the Perry Lutheran Homes last summer and is bringing forth a strong and steady response from donors again this year.
Donations are still being accepted. Needed items include:
- Protein, canned meat and fish
- Canned fruit, veggies, soup and pasta sauce
- Breakfast items, including cereal
- 100% fruit juice
- Paper and personal products, like toothpaste, soap and toilet paper
Donations may be dropped off at the northeast entrance of the Spring Valley Campus at 501 12th St. in Perry. For more information, call Carm Staker at 928-848-8378.
