The Perry Street Department will begin regular street cleaning from 5:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
This daily cleaning is necessary so leaves in the gutters do not accumulate in the storm sewers.
The Perry City Hall is asking citizens to park their vehicles off the street, such as in a driveway or off an alley, so cleaning can be completed.
According to city of Perry Code of Ordinances, it is unlawful to park any vehicle for a continuous period of more than 48 hours on any city street.
This daily cleaning of Perry streets will only occur during the fall season.
