A Clear Lake man arrested for harassment Tuesday in West Des Moines after he allegedly threatened to kill a woman.
Bryce Alexander Foster, 28, of 717 N. 11th St., Clear Lake, was charged with first-degree harassment, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The incident began about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 6000 block of Vista Drive in West Des Moines, where Dallas County Deputy Sheriffs responded to multiple reports of someone “going through the hallways, yelling and knocking on doors,” according to court records.
The deputies made contact with Foster, who presented as “unruly and nonsensical” and was “loud, belligerent and kept screaming in excess,” according to court records.
Foster allegedly “threatened to kill the victim,” according to a witness, and the victim was “visibly upset,” according to court records.
Foster was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 6 in Dallas County District Court.
