Clive man arrested after allegedly pulling knife on brother

Bradley Alan Howard, 33. of Clive was arrested Monday on a charge of first-degree harassment.

A Clive man was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly brandishing and threatening to harm his brother with an edged weapon.

Bradley Alan Howard, 33. of 15598 Buena Vista Court, Clive, was charged with first-degree harassment.

The incident began about 4:30 p.m. Monday in the 15500 block of Buena Vista Court, where officers of the Clive Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

The victim, Howard’s brother, told the officers that Howard “made threats to harm” him and “also brandished a knife,” according to court records.

“When officers went to investigate,” Howard “would not come out of his bedroom,” and the officers “forced entry into the room” and arrested him, according to court records.

Howard is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for arraignment July 22 in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
