Mohammad Latif Jafari, 35, of Clive was arrested Sunday on charges of third or subsequent offense stalking and violation of a no-contact order.

A Clive man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Sunday in connection with incidents over the fall and winter in which he allegedly stalked and harassed a Waukee woman and repeatedly violated a no-contact order.

Mohammad Latif Jafari, 35, of 9513 University Ave., Clive, was charged with third or subsequent offense stalking and violation of a no-contact order.

According to court records, Jafari allegedly stalked the victim “through multiple forms of harassment, including but not limited to creating fake social media accounts and posting close-to-nude photographs of the victim, creating fake phone numbers and texting the victim and leaving reviews of the victim’s workplace on Google.”

Jafari allegedly shows “a habitual pattern and course of conduct” by repeatedly violating the no-contact order on Sept. 30, Nov. 21, Dec. 7, Dec. 14 and Dec. 15, according to court records.

Jafari was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $20,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 16 in Dallas County District Court.

Jafari was arrested in West Des Moines Sept. 15 on a charge of third-degree harassment of the same victim after he allegedly “began to follow her as she made her way home,” according to court records. The case is pending in Polk County District Court, where a no-contact order was ordered Sept. 15. He was arrested in Clive Dec. 4 on charges of first-degree harassment of the same victim and violation of a no-contact order after he allegedly “posted a photograph depicting a nude female sitting in a bathtub,” according to court records. The case is pending in Dallas County District Court.
