Perry will host ADM in a Raccoon River Conference girls/boys set Friday, with the contests designated as the annual “Coaches vs. Cancer Night.”
Coaches will don sneakers as part of the national “Suits and Sneakers” campaign to increase cancer awareness. Fans of both teams are asked to wear white to signify the “Whiteout to Block-out” cancer movement.
Invited speaker Kirk VanKirk will address the crowd between games, and a 48-second drill will be held to raise donations for the fight against the disease.
SkillsUSA will be offering a $6 Meal Deal in the concession stand, which includes a pulled pork sandwich, chips and a drink. Dallas County Relay For Life will receive a $1 donation for each meal sold.
Varsity play begins with the girls game at 6 p.m.
