After more than three months of self-isolation, some of Perry’s coffee groups have ventured out of self-imposed lock down for renewed fellowship at the Perry Perk coffeehouse.

A dozen Women of Wonder gathered Thursday outside the coffeehouse in Prairie Lane, maintaining a discreet social distance and admiring one another’s handmade face masks.

Members of the Society of Retired Experts (SORE) met in smaller groups of four or five inside the coffeehouse. Their deliberations did “take a sober colouring” with the recent thinning of their ranks.

Tari and Madi Mason served coffee along with sanitary hands lotions and wipes in a cleanly environment.
