Contract laborers with the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) are patching concrete along U.S. Highway 169 in Adel north of U.S. Highway 6 and on U.S. Highway 6 east of U.S. Highway 169.
Traffic is reduced to one lane on both roadways, with alternating lane closures, flaggers and a pilot car.
Motorists are urged to use caution when passing through the area and to seek an alternate route if possible.
